The monthly event sees a vast variety of produce and world cuisine bought to the centre of town in a contemporary food market with a bustling nostalgic atmosphere.
Visitors can tantalize their taste buds with a great selection of fresh, delicious produce and world cuisine prepared fresh in front of their eyes.
The market, which has become a regular feature at The Heart, sees traders and customers alike returning time and time again.
The Flax Farm is one such trader, who has been at the market for the last two years. The stall – manned by linseed experts Emma, Wayne and Clare, sells linseed in all its forms. All products are freshly produced and include fresh cold-pressed linseed (flaxseed) oil (omega-3), freshly cold-milled linseed, linseed porridge & muesli and Flaxjacks©. As one of their best sellers, Flaxjacks are The Flax Farm’s simple, delicious, healthy flapjack-style cakes made from linseed with added seeds, wholegrains, fresh fruit & spices. All special diets are catered for, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and sugar-free.
The market provides the perfect opportunity for customers to try an assortment of flavours and tasty treats from around the world and expand their culinary horizons – whatever their dietary requirements.
Centre Manager, Mark Middleton says, “The Heart Farmer’s Market is one of the most eagerly anticipated events each month. It’s great that it has such an enthusiastic following and nice to see familiar faces coming back each month as well as new customers sampling the delights.”
