The sixth annual Food Festival returns to The Heart Shopping Centre in Walton-on-Thames over the weekend of 9th-10th June 2018.

The free 2 day festival will line Nettlefold Walk with over 40 specialist stalls offering a variety of local, regional and international produce and freshly prepared dishes.

Visitors can experience an array of culinary delights with stalls specialising in a variety of tempting flavours including Thai street food, traditional Portuguese pastries, British meats, Mexican churros and many more foodie treats.

Between 10.00am and 5.00pm on the Saturday and 11.00am and 5.00pm on the Sunday, live cooking demonstrations will show visitors how to recreate their favourite dishes at home and this year they will also get the opportunity to try the demonstrated dishes for themselves in our social kitchen.

Also on the menu for our younger visitors will be children’s masterclasses whereby children can decorate cookies and sweet treats to take home and enjoy, as well as amazing competition prizes to be won across the weekend via The Heart Shopping Centre’s social media channels.

Mark Middleton, Centre Manager at The Heart says, “This is the sixth year that we will be holding our popular Food Festival over 2 days meaning there is double the chance to try some delicious food and drink. It’s a fantastic event for all the family and I’m looking forward to seeing our loyal customers, and hopefully also some new ones.”
