Access & Mobility

The Heart Shopping Centre offers great mobility and access facilities with all shops being accessed at ground floor level. Stores which trade from mezzanine levels also provide internal lifts. Shop thresholds are the same level so wheelchair users are not presented with physical features that may create a barrier. Further services offered include three lifts to all floors of the multi-storey car park, allocated disabled parking spaces, a travelator from the car park first floor directly into the Sainsbury’s foyer, and dedicated disabled toilet facilities at ground floor level. There is also a disabled lift to the first floor management suite in New Zealand Avenue.
