With so much preparation to do before Christmas, why not let Shooting Star Chase help you out a little & have their volunteers wrap all your gifts for a small donation per item Inside The Heart Shopping Centre, from 11am to 4pm every Saturday in December leading up to Christmas, volunteers from Shooting Star Chase will ensure your presents are perfectly wrapped and ready to go straight under the tree.
Wrapping paper has been kindly donated by Paperchase, Sainsbury’s and Waterstones, with all proceeds collected from the service going directly to the charity.
Shooting Star Chase is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. They provide bespoke support, which is free of charge to families and available 365 days a year. Their care service includes short breaks at two hospices (Shooting Star House in Hampton and Christopher’s in Guildford), Hospice at Home, day care, symptom management, end-of-life care, bereavement care and a comprehensive range of therapies and support groups for the whole family.
Mark Middleton, General Manager at The Heart Shopping Centre says “We are delighted to support this wonderful charity in so many ways. Last month, we had Ollybot showing his fantastic dancing talent at our Halloween themed Kids’ Club and fundraising for the charity, and this month we have a Walton Schools Cake-Off and some gift-wrapping fun, all in the name of charity. We are looking forward to welcoming the Shooting Star Chase volunteers and shoppers to the centre over this festive period.”
