This February Half Term, The Heart Shopping Centre in Walton-on-Thames will be keeping the little ones occupied and bringing out their inner gardener with a fun-filled mini garden workshop.
The event, which will take place between 10am and 3pm on Saturday 16th February and is free for all, will give children of all ages the opportunity to plant and decorate their very own mini garden to take home. As part of the event, little ones will have the chance to decorate their mini garden with glitter, stones and even a selection of mini figures. They will also plant a selection of seeds that they will have to water and take care of at home in order to watch them grow. Children will also be able to let their imaginations run wild with our storytelling sessions hosted by our professional storytellers. These will take place on the hour, every hour between 10am and 3pm.
Mark Middleton, Centre Manager at The Heart Shopping Centre comments: “Our Kids’ Club events saw great success in 2018 and we are looking to grow on this throughout the year. This is the first time we are hosting a mini garden workshop and we hope that it will encourage children away from their electronic devices and into the garden as we head towards spring.”
As well as our free mini garden workshop, children can also enjoy free face painting between 10am and 1pm.
All events will take place inside the covered mall outside Monsoon and Clarks. For more details on the event please follow The Heart Shopping Centre on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @HeartShopping!
