Since the coronavirus pandemic hit the UK, many retailers have been keen to show their support to NHS staff and emergency service staff, so as a thank you to all of our NHS heroes, many stores at The Heart Shopping Centre Walton-on-Thames are offering a discount to our NHS workers.
The whole nation has been so overwhelmed by the amazing, selfless work that has been done throughout the Covid 19 pandemic, that everyone just wants to give something back however they can.
The Heart has a long list of stores that are showing their gratitude by offering discounts for NHS workers and eligible shoppers will just need to show a valid ID card at the till when purchasing.
Each store has their own level of discount, with some as high as 50% our retailers are really showing their gratitude.
Some of the stores taking part in this initiative are:
Carluccios
Claires
Clarks
EE
Holland & Barrett
Nandos
Paperchase
PureGym
The Body Shop
The Fragrance Shop
Vision Express
Waterstones
Are you already wondering what to get for those special people in your life? Look out for The Heart Annual Christmas Magazine which includes a helpful gift guide of products that are for sale throughout stores at The Heart. The magazine also includes more details of the retailers offering NHS discounts for our amazing heroes.
Mark Middleton, Centre Manager explains: “ “Everyone at The Heart wants to continue to support all those in the National Health Service and show our appreciation for the fearless work they undertake daily. I am really happy that so many of our retailers are providing such wonderful discounts, that will certainly help, especially when Christmas can be quite an expensive time of year. We hope alongside our other measures, shopping can be a little bit easier for our vital NHS staff.”
The Heart has several additional safety measures in place. These include a one-way system, social distancing markers, limitations to the number of visitors in the covered mall and stores at one time and additional hand sanitizer stations at the entrances. Many of its retailers also have additional measures to ensure the safety of everybody.
