Following the Prime Ministers announcement to place the UK into its third national lockdown on Tuesday the 5th of January 2021, The Heart Shopping Centre in Walton-on-Thames has now reintroduced free parking at the Centre.
The Heart, which is the main Shopping Centre for those living within close proximity to Walton-on-Thames, hosts an 800 space on-site car park which gives direct access to the Shopping Centre, including it’s popular Sainsbury’s Supermarket.
Mark Middleton, Centre Manager for the Shopping Centre explinas: “Our Landlords have made the decision to offer free parking during times of national lockdown to help support those who are visiting the Centre for their essential items. We appreciate that this is the third and for many, the hardest lockdown so far so we are dedicated to do all we can to support our shoppers during these challenging times.”
Although the majority of stores remain closed during the lockdown,, the Centre is home to several essential stores. These include Sainsbury’s - which also has a Lloyds Pharmacy inside, Holland & Barrett, Courts Pharmacy and Poundland. These stores will remain open however, their opening times may be subject to change - please visit The Heart website (www.heartshopping.co.uk) or follow them on Facebook and Instagram for up to date information.
The Heart Shopping Centre will be keeping their social media accounts and website up to date with changes to store opening times and restrictions in-line with Government announcements.
