As the country starts getting back to “normal”, The Heart Shopping Centre is delighted to announce the return of their popular Farmers’ Market which will take place at the Centre this Saturday, 1st of May!
The Farmers’ Market, which has been a monthly resident at The Heart Shopping Centre for many years, has been postponed since 2020 due to the pandemic but many of the regular stallholders are getting ready to return this Saturday and invite shoppers to enjoy their homemade and locally sourced produce.
The Farmers’ Market will be held on Saturday the 1st of May between 9.30 am and 2 pm along Nettlefold Walk which runs through the Centre.
Mark Middleton, Centre Manager of The Heart comments: “It’s a real pleasure to welcome back the Walton Farmers’ Market to The Heart. It’s always an incredibly popular event and adds a real sense of community and buzz to the Centre. Over the last few months, we have received a lot of feedback from regular visitors of the Farmers’ Market and they will be incredibly excited to return. This is another step towards normality for Walton-on-Thames but we do ask that visitors retain social distancing and although outside, we do ask that face coverings are worn to protect everybody.”
The Farmers’ Market will see up to 40 stalls attending, serving a great range of products from fresh fruit and vegetables to homemade cupcakes and locally sourced meats.
To ensure the safety of our stallholders and visitors, social distancing will be taken into consideration and we ask that visitors use the hand sanitiser stations located within the Centre and unless exempt, wear face coverings at all times.
