We have our fingers and toes crossed for glorious weather for June as we get ready to welcome back Walton’s Farmers’ Market on Saturday the 5th of June.
The Heart Shopping Centres’ monthly Farmers’ Market, which made its return at the beginning of May following the national lockdown, will be pitching up along Nettlefold Walk from 9.30 am on Saturday 5th of June to indulge Walton-on-Thames with a strong array of locally sourced produce, fresh fruit and veg and of course, mouthwatering cakes and sweet treats.
Mark Middleton, Centre Manager of The Heart comments: “Our Farmers’ Market is one of Walton’s most popular events and always attracts a strong crowd of both regulars and those visiting for the first time. We are expecting in excess of 30 stalls, all of which will be offering some unmissable produce. We recommend that you visit early to avoid disappointment as many of our stalls often sell out fast.
As always, safety remains our number one priority so when visiting we do ask that you practise social distancing where possible and wear a face covering when visiting the market and our retailers.
With the return of our indoor dining, why not extend your visit and treat the family to some of our other tasty delights at our family-friendly restaurants including Pizza Express, Carluccios and Nando’s. All of our retailers are also now fully operating so make a day of it and treat the whole family.”
The Farmers’ Market will take place between 9.30 am and 2 pm.
To ensure the safety of our stallholders and visitors, social distancing will be taken into consideration and we ask that visitors use the hand sanitiser stations located within the Centre and unless exempt, wear face coverings at all times.
