From Tuesday 30th November 2021, The Heart Shopping Centre in Walton-on-Thames will be enforcing the requirement to wear a face-covering when visiting the Centre following the latest Government guidance on Cornavirus issued on Sunday 28th November.
Mark Middleton, Centre Manager at The Heart explains; “Following concerns over the new Omicron variant, the UK Government has asked for the use of face coverings to be reintroduced when visiting shops and restaurants, as well as public transport. This is something that The Heart Shopping Centre is happy to welcome back to ensure the safety of our visitors, retailers and team members and to ensure the Centre can trade safely this Christmas. Of course, exemptions do apply and we understand that it may not always be visible as to why a visitor is exempt so we do ask visitors not to judge or approach those who are not wearing face coverings.”
The Heart Shopping Centre will continue to follow the latest Government updates and guidance to ensure safe shopping for all this Christmas.
The Centre remains open as usual and all festive activities such as upcoming Farmers’ Markets, Vegan Markets, Kids’ Club events will continue as normal unless otherwise advised.
