As part of The Heart’s celebrations to officially welcome King Charles III to the throne, The Heart Shopping Centre will be hosting The Great Walton Bake Off as they invite local bakers of all ages to take part.
Taking place on Monday 8th May, The Heart Shopping Centre will host a mouthwatering Great Walton Bake Off as local residents put forward their cakes for a chance to be crowned King or Queen of baking and to receive a £100 gift voucher for any store or restaurant of their choice within the Centre.
Split into two categories which will be those aged 14 and under, and those 15 and over, those who are selected to take part will be asked to create a cake themed around “A Cake Fit for a King”. Each cake will then be carefully judged by a panel made up of some of the Centre’s amazing retailers, and the King/Queen of each category will then be announced.
To ensure the safety of all bakers, visitors and judges, we are asking that all cakes are free from any nut products.
The Heart Shopping Centre hosts Walton’s first Bake Off Competition.
There will be ten spaces for each category available for bakers to participate. The Heart Shopping Centre has a “Register your interest” form live on their website until Monday, 24th April, when twenty individuals will be randomly selected and contacted.
