THE HEART BACK TO SCHOOL COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

5th-26th August 2020

 

1. The promoter is: The Heart Shopping Centre, New Zealand Avenue, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, KT12 1GH.
2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 16 years or over except employees of The Heart Shopping Centre and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

6. There is no limit to the number of entries.
7. One winner will be selected at random and allocated a specific prize of which is non-refundable. 
8. This is a one-off competition prize draw that will run from 10.30am on Wednesday the 5th of August until Wednesday the 26 of August at 4pm After this specified time, no further entries to the competition will be counted.
9. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
10. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows: 
    1. Entrants must ‘like’ or ‘follow’  The Heart Shopping Centre on their chosen social media channel (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram).
    2. Entrants must follow the instructions of the social media post on what to comment and/or to do
    3. Entrants must follow the link to the entry form on The Heart Shopping Centre website and complete it. 
    4. Entrants who wish to have an extra entry submitted must sign up to receive monthly e-newsletters from The Heart Shopping Centre .
11. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
12. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
13. The prize is as follows: A collection of gift vouchers to the value of £50 for retailers selling back to school items within The Heart Shopping Centre.
14. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
15. Winners will be chosen: at random by software, from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents by Why Media.
16. The winner will be notified by email within 24-hours of the competition closing time. If the winner does not acknowledge our email within 3 days, The Heart Shopping Centre reserves the right to select a new winner. 
17. The winner will be required to collect their prize from The Heart Shopping Centre Management Suite which is located at the main reception next to Pizza Express within 30 days of being announced the winner.
18. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
19. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
20. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
21. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

23. Entry into the competition will be deemed as an acceptance of these terms and conditions.
